Ray Rayner played a prominent role in Chicago Children's TV. From From 1961 to 1971, he was Oliver O. Oliver on Bozo's Circus always trying to lead the "Grand March;" from 1972 to 1981 he hosted "Ray Rayner and his Friends" with co-hosts including Chelveston the duck and Cuddley Duddley (voice of Roy Brown); and from 1961 to 1966 (?) he hosted "Dick Tracy Show" as Sargeant Pettibone.

First of all, you need to spell it right. The arbiter here is the Chicago Tribune, which created the dog as a promotional item. The proper spelling is "CUDDLY DUDLEY."
