+ Meet us in St. Louis! +

We visited the the famous arch four times. One time was the big silver one. The other three times were the "golden" ones because Luke was collecting all the Happy Meal toys to build his Inspector Gadget.

The St. Louis Trip was 8 days in St. Louis and Springfield, Illinois. Here are the "memories!" (Whoops. Why aren't there any pictures from Six Flags? Dunno. But we *were* there!)

The Arch

Hannibal, MO

Hannibal was our first stop.

Hannibal, MO, is, of course, famous as the home

of Mark Twain. But you would have had to read his,

"The Innocents Abroad," to appreciate the

irony of foreigners (us) being gouged!

Of course, it's always a thrill

to pay $34 to walk through a cave!

Here're the boys at Meramec Caverns,

Jesse James' hideout.

LukeNo, it's not the "Creature From the Black Lagoon." It's Luke in our nifty shark-attack swim gear. We didn't fool anyone at the pool, though!

But it didn't *smell* like a big foot.

Rudy's been a Monster Truck fanatic for a long time so it was a big thrill for both of us to visit the Big Foot factory and museum. Here, Rudy and Luke are dwarfed by a *very* big tire!

It's an *old* tradition to rub Lincoln's nose when you visit his grave.

It's a *new* tradition to

stick your finger up his nose!

That's Rudy there in his "Frank Sinatra goes golfing" hat.

Cross my heart, hope to die, stick a finger in Abe's nose!
